The gas analyzer 650 comes
equipped with solenoid valves
for both Zero and Span test gas.
The integral microprocessor
automatically makes all calibration
adjustments - You can initiate
calibration from the front panel
or a remote location.
The Model 650 can display
readings as Total Hydrocarbons
by Volume or Weight (PPM Cv
or mg/m3, respectively). An
optional methane cutter enables
measurement of non-methane
hydrocarbons. Either calibration
can be used to accurately read
mixtures of solvent vapors.
You can easily tie analyzers
into your PLC , plant-wide data
acquisition system or process
control system. Or tie into any
PC or laptop, either directly or
through a modem. You can even
add Control Instruments' operator
interface for remote display
and control

Gas Analyzers of RKI Instruments:
-
Available for LEL, H2S, CO, O2 , and ppm HC
IR sensors available for LEL & CO2
Long life sensors (2 + years typical)
Measuring ranges: CO (65-2432RK) 0 - 500 ppm; HC (65-2460RK) 0 - 500 ppm; CO2 (65-2391RK-03) 0-5% Vol.; CH4 (65-2390RK-CH4) 0-100% LEL;
HC (65-2390RK-HC) 0-100% LEL.
The “S” series transmitters are available for LEL, Oxygen, H2S, CO, or for 0 - 500 ppm
Hydrocarbon detection (for various fuels or solvents). The electronics are encased inside a potted package to avoid damage from mechanical
abuse or corrosion, and the amplifier is installed inside an explosion-proof enclosure.
The only tools required to calibrate the “S” series are a voltmeter, screwdriver, and cal gas. The zero and calibration functions are performed
by adjusting potentiometers on the amplifiers. The amplifier has test jacks for connection of a voltmeter for calibration purposes, and the sensor
response is viewed on the voltmeter as a 100mV to 500mV signal

Available in LEL, O2, H2S, CO, H2, HC (ppm)
LEL and O2 available with or without
transmitter
LEL and O2 available together in one
standard compact enclosure
The 35-3000RK (A) series is a compact sample draw detector assembly with a built-in pump that accepts a 24VDC input.
This unit features a NEMA 4X enclosure making it dust, water and corrosion resistant. It also features a flowmeter with adjustable flow and
a low flow alarm, which warns of any obstructions or restrictions in the flow system. Combustibles, oxygen, hydrogen sulfide and carbon
monoxide versions are available with or without a 4-20 mA transmitter. The 35-3000RK (A) is also available with both LEL and oxygen sensors
in one unit.
The 35-3000RK (A) is capable of single person calibrations and remote sampling at up to 5,000 ft. from a controller, and interfacing
to any RKI or third party control system (utilizing a 4-20 mA feedback signal). Large versions of this efficient sample draw system are
available with up to four sensors, LEL, O2, H2S and CO all in one enclosure

Explosion proof housing available
Water repellent patented sensor coating
Available for LEL, H2, O2, CO, and H2S
Long life sensors (2 + years typical)
The RKI direct connect series gas sensors are highly reliable and very cost effective for the detection of common gas hazards.
The direct connect series are available for LEL, H2 Specific LEL, Oxygen, H2S, and CO for a variety of RKI's controllers.
All sensors are explosion-proof with flame arrestors, and approved (optional non-explosion proof version available for oxygen for use in
hazardous atmospheres).
The direct connect sensors can be used in two different ways. The sensors can be mounted directly to the controllers as a complete stand alone
system, or they can be mounted to explosion proof junction boxes for remote detection.
The direct connect sensors can be used either indoors or outdoors. The flame arrestors for the explosion-proof versions utilize a patented
coating which make them water repellent. Also, splash guards are available for use in very wet environments

Detection Principle: Electrochemical cell
The GD-K77D is a complete sample drawing gas monitor, including digital readout and alarm relays. A new gas sensor technology using an intelligent
sensor for remote location calibration and setup is used. The new GD-K77D sensors are designed to provide a longer time period between calibrations.
Calibration intervals have been cut in half to12 months of on-line service which equates to reduced maintenance cost. In addition, the sensors
can be calibrated away from the gas detector installation, for example in a service area or offsite. This eliminates the inconvenience of having
calibration gases in the fab or monitoring location. GD-K77D easily connects to an existing PLC system and is ideal for applications needing
a local readout or where a relay control is needed

Detection Principle: Electrochemical cell
RKI offers unique proprietary sensor technologies for hydrogen specific detection in either the % LEL or PPM ranges. By utilizing a proprietary
molecular sieve coating that is built into both our catalytic or solid state sensors, false alarms from typical hydrocarbon interfering gases
are essentially eliminated.
For the LEL range, a special catalytic sensor is coated with a molecular sieve that eliminates the response to common background gases like IPA,
methane, gasoline, etc. while providing a detection range of 0 – 100% LEL for hydrogen.
The hydrogen PPM sensor can reliably detect leaks 20 times smaller than a standard catalytic sensor. This solid state sensor has a molecular
sieve coating on the sensing element, which filters out interference from other gases and provides a 0 – 2,000 PPM range
